VTech KidiConnect® (DE)

KidiConnect® offers a means for parents to maintain communication with their children, even when they are away from home.

With KidiConnect®, children can share messages through compatible VTech toys. All contacts must be approved by parents prior to any communication, ensuring that children can engage in a secure environment.

NOTE: KidiConnect® is intended for communication with compatible VTech devices. The app cannot be used to send messages to adults or children without a compatible device.

WHY USE KIDICONNECT®?

• STAY IN TOUCH WITH YOUR CHILD. KidiConnect® utilizes an internet connection (Wi-Fi) to facilitate communication with your child globally, even when not at home. Parents can also add other family members and friends to the child's contact list, allowing grandparents and others to stay connected.
• CHILD-SAFE. All contacts require parental approval before any communication can occur. Users not in the child's contact list cannot connect with them.
• SUITABLE FOR ALL AGE GROUPS. Younger children can use KidiConnect® to share voice messages, photos, drawings, stickers, or pre-recorded messages. As the child matures and learns to write, they can also send text messages.
• GROUP CHAT. In group chat, your child can communicate with multiple family members or friends simultaneously.
• FUN ELEMENTS! Users can personalize their KidiConnect® avatar using their photo or choose from several cartoon characters. The app also includes amusing stickers and pre-recorded messages. Additionally, children can use a voice changer to record sounds in a robotic or mouse voice.

USING KIDICONNECT®

Parents:
Please register your child’s VTech device before downloading this app. This process creates a Download Manager family account that one parent can use to log into the app. This parent will manage the child's contact list and may send or approve friend requests on behalf of the child.
The other parent must register for a separate Download Manager user account and be added to the family group as any other relative would be.

Relatives:
Approval from the parents must be obtained before contacting a child. After registering for a Download Manager user account, send a contact request to the child’s parents to join their family group.

KidiConnect® is compatible with the KidiCom MAX and other VTech devices that support KidiConnect® or VTech Kid Connect®.
